Hello, I’m Emma and I live in Staple Hill with my partner and cat, Summer. I’ve had cats all my life & often look after friends’ and family’s fur babies! I know how important it is as a cat owner to be reassured that they are in good hands and as relaxed as possible, so that you can fully enjoy your time away. I love how unique each cat is and like getting to know their quirks. It’s amazing how even the grumpy or more timid ones manage to wrap you around their little paw in no time! Now I’m working from home I have free-time in the mornings and evenings (somtimes lunchbreaks too) that would’ve been spent commuting … and I thought, what better way to spend that time than keeping cats company and checking they’re well looked after while you’re away. Also, just for info I have an enhanced DBS certificate

We were initially anxious about leaving Nala over the weekend on her own, but Emma quickly put our minds at ease. She took the time to truly understand Nala’s behaviour, routine, and personality. Our little Nala can be shy with new people, but she warmed to Emma quickly, a true testament to Emma's gentle, caring nature. We received lovely, thorough updates throughout her visits and won't hesitate to work with Emma again. If you are looking for a cat sitter, Emma is a total gem and we recommend her without reluctance.
Emma is a super-friendly, very flexible and all-round purrfect cat-sitting companion for your feline overlord/lady. Even though we contacted her with less than a week til our desired date, it was no problem - she responded quickly and confirmed within a matter of minutes. She popped around beforehand to meet us and our cat, took careful notes on all the little points and idiosyncrasies we had to pass on and when we were away, sent us regular updates and films of our cat having a fantastic time (no doubt she was sorry to see Emma leave!) We will absolutely be getting in touch again when next we need someone to cover. Thanks Emma!

Schedule
I can visit your cat once or twice daily ( before and after work) to give them food, fresh water, empty the litter tray and check in on them. I will also spend time with them -keeping them company, playing with them, giving them cuddles, grooming them (if they’ll let me!) or just hanging out. I’m more than happy to send you updates and photos to give you peace of mind. Also happy to water house plants if needed. Areas covered - Staple Hill, Downend, Mangotsfield, Frenchay, Fishponds
