Pet care experience

Your Pet's Next Bestfriend!

I have volunteered for years at an animal shelter with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I took multiple training courses at the shelter to be able to work with dogs that may need more care and attention, as well as for those that may be more reactive. I have also owned dogs my entire life and have been tasked numerous times with walking/watching people's dogs!

Emma was amazing! Great at communicating and keeping us updated on our pup. She met with us before we left and Chinola immediately loved her. We felt so comfortable and relaxed knowing that she was looking after our pup :)

Emma has taken care of our 2 dogs on many occasions. This would include daytime shifts as well as single overnights, and multiple days/overnights in a row. She shows great care for the dogs and ensures all of their needs are met, they are fed on time, and receive their medications timely. The dogs love being around her and we have the greatest confidence in her abilities to handle our 2 large golden retrievers!

Emma has volunteered at an animal shelter along with myself for a number of years. There, we were required to take multiple dog handling training classes before being allowed to handle certain types of dogs. We also needed to be mentored by an experienced volunteer. We also volunteered in their therapy pets program where we interacted with many different dogs from the local community, In addition, we have owned dogs her entire life and she has been an active care giver as soon as she was old enough, This includes walking, feeding. playing with and staying with them when we were away (including over night).
