Hey there! My name is Emma and I'm a huge animal lover. I have been taking care of animals since I was 6 years old, and My primary experience is caring for my wonderful little dogs, Lili (the sweetest senior in the world, she's 18 years old) and Izzy (the friendliest 9-year-old Maltese you will ever come across). They are back at my parent's home in Hawai'i, so now that I am living in NYC, I'm looking to take care of some new furry friends. <3 I have been housesitting and taking care of neighbor dogs (Tibetian Spaniels, Cockerdoodle mixes) since I was about 10, and I've taken care of cats, birds, chickens, goats, you name it...). I love all animals big and small and have experience both training young dogs and lovingly caring for senior animals. I promise your fur baby and I will get along just swimmingly! As for taking care of homes, I started housesitting and long-stay babysitting for relatives on vacation at about 14 years old. More recently, I worked as a housekeeper for an up-scale vacation rental company and was the first trusted point-of-contact for many owners who rented out their properties short term. This involved cleaning and staying overnight, doing grocery shopping for guests, and taking care of houseplants and pool maintenance. I love gardening and am an avid houseplant collector, and have particular experience caring for tropical plants. I am quite clean and tidy and have been recommended to many friends of friends and clients as a trustworthy, responsive house sitter :)
