Hello! My name is Emma, having 17+ years of experience working with both dogs and cats, I earned my masters degree in psychology, and I practice pet therapy/coaching working with animals who may suffer from anxiety, display characteristics of obstinance, have depression, and many other emotional needs. I have experience working with different breeds, ages, and sizes of dogs. I also have experience walking all types of dogs, from as large as a Mastiff to as small as a Shih Tzu. >>> Additionally, other types of animals I’ve taken care of include fish, ponies, rabbits, geckos, guinea pigs, birds, hamsters, etc. :) Please feel free to message me if you own any of these types of pets and would potentially like for me to care for them. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old. Growing up my family owned 4 dogs, two of our dogs had puppies and we kept two of the brothers, bringing us to a total of 6 loving dogs in our home. Two of the dogs we owned were rescue pets and I have a deep understanding that each rescue has unique needs. I am committed to working with you to discover the most effective strategies for your pet. In high school I worked at a pet boarding facility where I gained a lot of valuable knowledge. I’ve been called the dog whisperer by many. When I’m interacting with your dog I will treat them as if they were my own. I’m currently in the dissertation stage of my doctoral program, therefore in my free time I do writing and research, which allows me to continue expanding upon my knowledge of pet psychology. I love observing the unique personalities of animals, it brings me so much joy! It is crucial to understand the emotional needs of dogs. Creating a nurturing and supportive environment for our animals relies on our skill in identifying and comprehending their feelings. Our pets are a valued part of our family, understanding our dogs' emotional needs and prioritizing their mental well-being can help us form a stronger bond with them and ensure they are happy and healthy. This time for the first time ever, my dog Kimg stayed home. Emma checked on him, fed him, gave him His meds, walked him, spent time loving him. And the photos were great. King remembered her, and would greet her. He was that comfortable with her!
Emma took great care of my cat while I was away. On time and great communication. Would definitely recommend and book again.
Emma was wonderful with our cat Mimi! She sent daily photo updates that made our trip so much more relaxing, and she followed every instruction we left to the letter. It’s so reassuring to find a sitter who genuinely cares and communicates well. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for Mimi and couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend!
Emma took great care of our dog during a play date and then a 2-night stay. She sent several pictures and updates and Cosmo came home happy!

Schedule
I am at home full-time. If you have a last minute request please still reach out and send me a message and I will do my best to accommodate your needs. I have plenty of time to play with your pets as my schedule is flexible. I’m able to be home all day with the pets. • Please inform me as it relates to late pick ups and drop offs. Subject to a late fee per pet. • Meet and greets: meet and greets are for pet owners who are serious about finding exceptional care for their pets. •Dog walking: I am happy to walk your dog(s) anytime of day (including evenings) so please feel free to reach out. • Solo dog sitting requests (ensuring your fur baby is the only one I am sitting): I do allow for this, for an extra fee. We can further discuss this along with any specific needs of your fur baby. •Day care hours are typically a total of 8 hrs. We can discuss the best options based on your schedule, subject to an additional fee, if it is well overtime. 🐰🐶🦜Each pet needs to have their own individual profile, and profile picture.🐱🐠🐹

I live in a very spacious 3 bedroom condo that is over 1,400 square feet, where I have a roomy enclosed patio it’s about the length of a dog run so your dog will have room to stretch their legs. 🌳 I have a gated enclosed courtyard at my building. I provide fresh filtered water. 🔥 My home is in the flatlands and is one of the safest areas in the Los Angeles area during fire natural disasters. There are many parks near my home. I can easily crate your dog if needed.
A typical day
We will play games to mentally and physically stimulate your dog. I will tailor games to your dog's favorite activities. Your dog and I will explore the local park. I will give them tons of pets. We will also take a long walk through the neighborhood.
