Professional dog trainer of over two decades seeks clients as she moves to Arizona from California. After 25 years of working with a variety of animals from farm animals to domesticated animals to wild animals, I brought my worth in the Dog training community animals, I hope that you understand that I am only keeping my prices high because that’s what I’m worth. I’m not worth $12 a walk. I’m worth more than that. My Dog clients miss me greatly and when they hear my name, they do happy dance dances to this day. I am currently open for daycare and boarding at my house. I also do housesitting and I’m there except for one hour in the morning and one hour at night when I go check on my dogs. I’m also available for drop ins and things but I’d like to get to know you and your dog before I do that on a more consistent basis. I’ve worked with Rover since 2012 and I’ve had nothing but positive reviews and experiences with Rover; I can provide nothing but positive references if asked and look forward to speaking to you. My prices may be higher than my competitors, but they aren’t my competitors. They are people that are unqualified to do this job that are being paid to do the job that they aren’t doing from my experience and in my opinion.

Emma is amazing! Words can't describe how thankful I am to her for taking care of my Luna. She consistently gave me updates throughout the day, providing photos, tips, and even helped Luna with some training. Luna has osteoarthritis and urinary incontinence. Emma was able to administer medication, take Luna outside for potty breaks frequently to accommodate her weak bladder, and kept Luna's bedding clean. She is able to read dogs' body language and behavior very well and understands what they need. She provided me with some insight about my dog's personality that I hadn't seen before. I completely trust Emma with my dogs and can feel good while I'm away knowing they're safe. I will definitely be using her for services in the future!

Emma has terrific talent of working/training dogs. Emma has many years of experience training dogs, assisting owners learning training skills to reinforce what she teaches. Emma has a true love of dogs and training them. Emma also has several certifications for dog training and would be a great asset to this position as a coach to/for others.

Schedule
I consider myself a “stay at home dog trainer” as I train dogs online and in my house; my schedule is flexible and adaptable to what your dog will need while at my house.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a small fenced patio with grass and turf. While I do accept dogs from multiple homes, I have rooms to contain them separately if they do not get along. ***If you are the second dog and don’t get alone with dog 1, you will be required to pick up your dog AND pay for the full amount of the stay.) I am very thorough when I do my questionnaire for dogs so if Dog Two did something to Dog one and I saw the camera saw you’re responsible for the stay and you will get your dog immediately; my insurance will not allow it!
Pets
A typical day
Physical exercise and mental stimulation are my favorite things to do to provide a pup enrichment. I also love to utilize a treadmill, dog-friendly and safe running areas, etc. 3-5 walks/outings a day. They have a dog room that plays Bluey episodes on repeat and the other movie request has been “Life of a Dog” on Disney! Both highly recommended and napable too! During a drop in visit I make sure they get outside, refill food and water dishes while also providing love and stimulating things to do for your dog!
