I have loved and cared for dogs for almost my entire life. I have been around dogs since I was 5 years old, which has given me a deeper understanding and love of all dogs. Besides caring for my personal and family member's dogs, I worked at a doggy daycare part-time and cared for dogs of all breed, ages and sizes. On a normal day, I would be responsible for managing at least 20-30 dogs indoors and outdoors. This experience allowed me to learn different canine behaviors and how to effectively handle situations. The experience and love doesn't stop at just dogs - I also have plenty of experience with cats and love them just as much! I currently work for a local dog walking company, where I take pride in offering top-notch pet care. I am around pets all day long and I can't think of a better way to spend my days! I have years of experience with a variety of pets, dog breeds, sizes and personalities. I also have been the go-to pet sitter for family and friends because I treat all fur babies like they are my own - always loved and spoiled! This is why I decided to join Rover and help local families have a stress-free vacation knowing that their pets are well taken care of with me. I currently work full-time Monday-Friday and will be available to care for your pets during morning & evening hours and on weekends. I do update my calendar every two weeks, at the least. While dog walking, I always ensure it is a safe environment for the dog and myself. Working in a doggy daycare has taught me an array of skills. I have a strong understanding of body language when it comes to dogs, therefore I am able to comprehend if your dog gets uncomfortable in its surroundings or by another furry friend. I am able to effectively manage and handle these types of situations because of my previous experience. I will ensure your dog enjoys every second of their walk by keeping that tail wagging! For any new clients, I do require a meet & greet to be scheduled so that I can ensure I take great care of your pet!
