I work with all breeds and specialise in the big, the boisterous and the spicy. I’m a balanced but ethical trainer and always train with kindness.
A typical day
I’m a very active hiker so love to take pooches on adventurous walks through woodland and fields, especially with rivers during the spring and summer. We practise essential skills such as loose lead walking, recall and correct socialisation protocols on each walks.

Hey, I’m Emma- a professional dog trainer who specialises in high-drive and powerful breeds. I live with two working-type dogs myself, so I know how much structure and mental stimulation these breeds need Whether your dog struggles with reactivity, basic obedience or you just want to learn how to switch them on & off, I’ve got you covered. I also offer drop ins for dogs, small and exotic animals in my area 😊

Emma is the most amazing,caring and fun person you could have to look after your dog. She has this ability to connect with any dog,( in fact I think all the dogs she looks after fall Iin love with her) they get a daily walk off the property,are played with, cuddled, and are fed to your instructions. The dogs have great fun, but she is also a no nonsense carer so the dogs respect her. Emma sent us photos and texts so we could see how our wee dog was doing while we were away. Emma used Facebook to continue to send photos of the dogs she was looking after when in New Zealand. She also looked after our old cat and two elderly horses. Emma is an amazing person, with a real affinity for animals and I would highly recommend her for any position she applies for.. I think all the dogs miss her when she leaves . Val Kennedy New Zealand
