I have a flexible schedule and I am very passionate about taking care of dogs. I unfortunately can’t take anymore boarding or house sitting visits because I’ll be watching senior citizen overnight. I gladly will still be accepting cat visits and dog walking!

I will provide good enrichment by taking them in walks that meet their requirements, utilize their mind by giving them toys that are a game, give them plenty of belly rubs, run with them in my basement, play with my dog.

I have been a reliable sitter for 5 of my neighbors and close friend for 7 years. I am knowledgeable about the behavior and care that animals need and deserve. Two summers ago, I helped at a dog grooming company and got to strength my skills with being very patient and working with different behaviors in various breeds. I also got to learn how to properly calm down dogs during a stressful situation and brush them. After my third year in Ames as an Animal Science Student and I’ll be up working in Winneshiek County until the 2026-2027 school year starts.

Emma is great! She came over the week before she watched Milo and went with me on a walk with him. She sent me photos and I knew Milo was in good hands! The house was neat and tidy when she left. Highly recommend Emma!
