I’m currently at home full time so your pet will be with me constantly and will have my full attention and lots of cuddles! Pet care is available during the day or overnight as required.

I live in a large two bedroom flat in the very dog friendly area of Stockbridge where dogs are almost more welcome than people! I have a shared, fenced-in garden where they can run around but I’m also just around the corner from Inverleith Park where many owners take their dogs if your pet likes to play with others. I’m also very fitness oriented so happy to make sure your pet gets plenty of exercise and a nice long walk if required.

Let me know if your dog has any behavioural triggers or issues that might make them uncomfortable. I have experience with rescue dogs so I am aware of things that might affect certain animals but it’s always important to know ahead of time. Similarly, awareness of dietary requirements is very important. Most of all, let me know how your dog likes to be treated! Some dogs are super snugglers and some like more space. Every pet is different so the more I know the better service I can provide!
A typical day
Your pet would get regular walks from first thing in the morning until pre bedtime widdles. During the day they would hang out with me at home receiving plenty of attention and cuddles! As I live in a very dog friendly area they would come with me on any errands during the day which would probably involve local store owners also providing attention and treats!

Pet care experience
I have been looking after dogs for my friends for several years now and I absolutely love spending time with them. I have experience looking after a rescue dog and I’m proud of the trust and lovely rapport I’ve built with her over the years. I’m one of a handful of people her owner will trust to let her off lead which is a huge honour! Dogs in my house are treated as welcome guests and yes, they are allowed on the sofa to cuddle up with me! Huge sucker for the puppy dog eyes!

Emma was great with Ghillie! I got updates and photos from her plus I knew when I picked Ghillie up he had settled in really well as had made himself at home by finding a spot under the bed and of course his favourite thing to bring shoes as a welcome gift when you come in the door!!
Emma took care of Laurie for 6 nights whilst I was away. We met up for a walk beforehand and I instantly knew she would be in safe hands. Emma send me lots of photos and updates of Laurie having an amazing time with her. It sounds like she had a great time, making lots of friends and making herself truly at home! Thank you again Emma- it was lovely going away knowing she was being very well looked after! :)
Gus had a lovely time with Emma while we were away. She was responsive to his old man tendencies and needs. I would not hesitate to use her again.
Emma, as always, is fabulous with Fin! Our request was a little last minute but wasn’t a problem for Emma at all. Fin loves going to her place and is totally comfortable and happy with her. She’s always responsive, provides updates and truly cares about Fin!
