I currently live in an apartment with wonderful grounds for walking and have have a Jack Russell terrier mix and tortoiseshell cat. My animals will keep yours company if you decide to stay, and I truly enjoy taking long walks myself daily and being outside if you’re looking for more short-term care at your home.

I am comfortable working with all breeds of dogs with special needs or abilities, and would just like to know what extra care I can provide for them ahead of time. It’s also useful to know how they may respond to other dogs or animals while walking or at home, and if they have any reactions to things like loud noises or other stimuli.
A typical day
I have plenty of toys at home that I can provide to play with, and love playing with dogs and cats to see their personalities shine. I also love being out in nature. The Dayton area has some wonderful parks and preserves for long walk, and my current favorites are Bill Yeck Park and Oakes Quarry. At home, I take daily walks around the neighborhood with my dog and we love to explore new routes each time, both in residential areas and on the nearby bike path.

Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of animals my whole life. From routinely cat-sitting for neighbors starting at the age of 8, to volunteering at an animal rescue in high school, and recently working at a local vet as an assistant and administrative assistant, animals have always been my kindred spirits. I love meeting new furry friends and have always felt a close connection to them.
