As a stay‑at‑home mom, I have the time and flexibility to offer calm, focused, one‑to‑one care throughout the day. Every dog is welcomed like part of the family and taken straight out for a walk to help them settle in comfortably. I do step out for short periods for normal household tasks, but dogs are never left alone for long. We’re a nature‑loving family, and daily walks are a big part of our routine , they bring us peace and keep the dogs happy.

We have two dogs of our own who are well loved members of the family. They enjoy their own space, so to ensure every dog feels safe and relaxed, we keep guest dogs in a separate area of the house with their own room and routine. This setup allows for one on one attention and a calm environment tailored to each dogs needs. Each guest gets their own private upstairs suite (aka our spare room), access to a memory foam bed and zero competition for cuddles. Please have flea treatments & vaccinations up to date

When your pet’s with me, it’s all about keeping things calm, fun, and full of love. I like to mix things up depending on their mood—whether they’re feeling playful or just want to chill. 🌿 We might head out for a gentle walk by the water, where they can sniff around and maybe dip a paw in if they’re curious. I’ve got a longer leash so they can explore safely. 🌼 Or we’ll wander through a quiet field or take a slow stroll around the neighbourhood—whatever suits their vibe that day. 🎾 Back home, there’s time for toys and games if they’re up for it. And if they’re more of a cuddle-on-the-couch type, I’m always happy to settle in with a blanket and a bit of telly. I treat every pet like they’re my own—lots of patience, kindness, and attention to what makes them feel safe and happy.

FB: Harbour Hound B&B Instagram: harbour.houndbnb Harbour Hound B&B isn’t your usual dog‑boarding setup, we’re a non‑mixing environment, taking one dog at a time, or two from the same household, so every guest gets proper one‑to‑one care. Our guest has their own cosy bedroom for the duration of their stay. Dogs here sleep independently in their room, and they’ll also have short periods of downtime while I get on with normal mum things like cooking dinner or tidying up. Because of that, it’s important that your dog is comfortable settling on their own and doesn’t become anxious or stressed by this. We welcome: • Crate‑trained dogs • Dogs who were crate trained in the past • Dogs who are happy and comfortable resting independently This helps keep our home running smoothly and makes sure every dog has a relaxed, happy stay. Really glad we found Emma! We needed someone last minute and she was super accommodating about taking our dog on short notice without meeting beforehand. She sent us pictures while we were away and our pup looked happy and well cared for. Would definitely recommend and book with her again!
