As a recent Animal Science graduate and aspiring Veterinarian, I have spent years gaining experience caring for dogs. This has involved caring for my own dog, the pets of friends and family and working in a doggy daycare. My experience ranges from puppies to seniors and end of life care. Every opportunity I have been given to look after dogs I have thoroughly enjoyed and I look forward to meeting your pets too!

I believe the most important thing a sitter can do is ensure the pet sticks to their normal routine. Following the instructions you provide me, I will make sure that your pet has a comfortable sit and stays happy and relaxed whilst they are away from their family. Additionally, I will take special care when opening doors and gates in your home. On hot summer days, I will walk them in the early morning or later in the evening to keep your pet safe. If there are any particular concerns, please let me know and I will keep them in mind during my time caring for your pet. Also, I have an enhanced DBS check to give you extra peace of mind.

Emma looked after our Shih Tzu for an evening whilst we went out for a meal and the theatre. She arrived on time and our dog settled really well with her. We would recommend her and will be contacting her again when we need a dog sitter,.

Peggy loved her stay with Emma and especially Milo! We got sent lovely pictures throughout the day and we literally had to chase Peggy round the garden to take her home 🐶
Emma kindly offered to look after our 18 month old cocker spaniel Ron at last minute for an overnight stay. We were invited round to make sure Ron would be friendly with Emma’s gorgeous pup Milo and we were quickly made to feel at ease, learning about all of Emma’s experience in caring for animals! Emma has a beautiful home with a big garden and we immediately knew Ron would have a fabulous stay! This was our first time using Rover and Emma was very responsive from booking, any questions we had and during Ron’s stay. Emma’s kind nature and love for dogs is very obvious and we just want to pass on our biggest thanks. If we ever need Ron looking after again, Emma will be our first point of call!
Emma has looked after my dog whilst we were on holiday. He loves Emma and looks forward to his walks/visits with her. Emma is very professional and loves dogs.

Schedule
I work part-time on a fixed schedule, which means I know my availability well in advance, allowing your pet and me to establish the 'paw-fect' routine! My shifts are never longer than four hours, so I will never be away for extended periods of time. I have two full days off each week and plenty of availability around my work shifts, giving me lots of time for walks, drop-in visits, playtime and overnight stays!
