Hello, my name is Emma! I am extremely organised and comfortable with the responsibility of a home, and pets. I take instructions well and I am happy to take on specific tasks when caring for pets whether that’s in their own home, my home or out for a walk. In the past 4 years, I have looked after a multitude of homes for pet owners, friends and family as well as duties via a website involving staying at people’s homes whilst they go away. This has included caring for several lovely dogs and cats (including Milo with ear and eye problems, having to administer eardrops and eyedrops). Breeds varying from miniature yorkies to Bernese mountain dogs, high energy puppies to the slower paced, senior pups. No breed, age or request is ever too much and I’ll always give your fur friend 100% of my attention. I am happy to send frequent pupdates (if requested) via text, images and/or Facetime to re-assure you during your time away :) My partner George also helps me sometimes who, when we lived together would help with any dogsitting duties. He has also grown up with dogs his whole life and has helped me over the past 4 years.

Went to collect Molly. She was very pleased to see me but almost immediately turned back to Emma to continue playing and engage with her. I found Emma to be a very pleasant young person with a commendable air of good sense and an assurance that she could take good care of our dog. During the visit she kept us advised of what was happening and at the collection was very complementary about the pleasant time she, and her father, had spent with our Molly. I would have no hesitation in asking Emma to look after Molly again, and I think Molly would be delighted too.

It was a pleasure to meet Emma. Jinji is an elderly, nervous dog but was very comfortable around her and was happy to be led out on their first walk together. Needless to say, it was very reassuring and I felt that she was in good hands. Would definitely book Emma again. Thank you!
Emma went above and beyond to make Petra feel at home and even slept on the sofa with her as she was boarding for the night! This was Petra’s first time boarding so she was very nervous but Emma persevered so that we could have our day out! Thank you so much!

Schedule
On the weekends I like to spend my time going on long walks. With a fur companion this would be ideal as there are plenty of green spaces (Trent park, massive fields with public footpaths, Hadley common) that we can walk in. I have a lovely garden which your dog can always have access to and when looking after your dog, my work schedule is very flexible so they will receive plenty of attention throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
There are no other dogs present in the house which has its own spacious (dog proof and fenced) garden, this also means there is no need to worry about favourites! I am very attentive and will cater to all of your dogs needs, whether that’s constant toilet breaks, cuddles on the sofa or leaving them to sleep whilst I go about any tasks.
A typical day
I can take your furry friend for long walks and mentally/physically stimulate them by playing fetch or bring along any other toys or sticks for them to play with. I can make the most of the green spaces surrounding the house as well as play with them during their time indoors to exert any energy. If you have a high energy dog, I’m happy to go for longer walks/help with training or use enrichment treats (snuffle matts/kongs/puzzle toys etc etc).
