I’m currently working from home but am lucky that I make my own hours so I’m able to take time out of my day to check in on animals and go for walks with them. I’ll sometimes be able to do last minute but would prefer at least 24 hours notice.

I will always make sure the animal has enough food and water and that I’m always supervising them when they’re playing with toys or enjoying treats. I’m happy to send picture/video updates to you while I’m taking care of your pet! Before leaving, I’ll make sure that the animal had no hazards around (ie: chews, garbage etc) so that we can both feel comfortable leaving the animal alone.

I’d love to know if there’s anything you’re working on (training), if they like greeting/be greeted by others dogs on walks, if they have any unusual quirks, if they’ve ever had aggressive behaviour and if so how you’d like me to respond to that situation.
A typical day
I love walking dogs through Prospect Park! There’s so much open space and it’s great for dogs to feel safe since there aren’t as many noisy city sounds.

**I was recently traveling for work for over 6 months but am back in NYC and ready to meet your sweet pets!** I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and finally adopted my own dog in July 2020. I have a lot of experience around rescue dogs and their needs (especially anxieties) and how to support them. With my own dog, I’ve helped her go from being scared of the city to being a confident pup. People always comment on how well trained my dog is (and I adopted her when she was a puppy). With my former roommate, I rescued a stray cat that had followed me home 2 days in a row. I absolutely adore cats and love spending time with them.

Our pup is just a few months old and Emma handles her like a pro (a very tough thing at this age lol) Emma was super communicative with us and sent us the best pics! After just one visit together, Ruby recognized Emma on the street and couldn’t contain her excitement to see her again. We really love to see it. And can’t wait to have her as a regular walker!
Emma is the BEST! She is so sweet and attentive. I was having app issues and she was so accommodating.
