I’ve loved caring for animals for as long as I can remember and have been helping with pets since middle school. Growing up, I also gained hands-on experience working as a stable hand, which taught me the importance of responsibility, patience, and paying close attention to each animal’s needs. While living in the Birmingham area for college, I provided dependable pet care and house-sitting for families, including caring for both dogs and cats during longer stays. Now that I’m back home on the Eastern Shore, I’m excited to continue offering pet care locally and would love the opportunity to care for your pets, too! I have a calm, gentle presence and do my best to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and thoughtful about following each pet’s normal routine, preferences, and care instructions. I currently work a remote part-time job, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I’m available for drop-in visits, walks, and overnight stays, including extended house-sitting. Because of this flexibility, I’m able to give your pets consistent attention and make their care a priority. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I want both the pets and their owners to feel completely comfortable. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, favorite activities, and any special needs so I can keep things as familiar and low-stress as possible. I also treat each home with respect by keeping things clean and tidy, following instructions carefully, and making sure everything is safely locked up before I leave.
