What sets me apart from other sitters is the range of experience I have with all kinds of animals and personalities. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have cared for dogs, cats, lizards, hamsters, fish, and more. I’m also a consistent pet sitter for multiple families in my neighbourhood, which has given me hands-on experience and long-term trust with different pets and routines. Being away from home at university has honestly made me miss being around animals even more, so caring for pets is something I genuinely love doing—not just a job. Because of my background, I’m comfortable working with a wide variety of temperaments, from high-energy puppies to shy or anxious pets and senior animals who need a calmer, more patient approach. I’m attentive, reliable, and I take the time to understand each pet’s routine and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

I care for pets with a lot of patience, attention, and respect for their individual routines. I’m very observant and make sure to notice changes in behaviour, energy levels, or appetite, and I always follow the care instructions provided by the owner closely. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, safe environment so pets feel comfortable and secure. I take the time to build trust - especially with shy or anxious animals - while also giving plenty of attention and affection to pets who enjoy it. Cleanliness, consistency, and reliability are really important to me, and I always treat each home and pet as if they were my own.

Emma took care of my leopard gecko, Norris, for two months straight, and I couldn’t have asked for a better caregiver. I provided her with a list of care instructions, all of which she followed carefully and consistently. She sent me daily updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind, and she always made sure Norris was happy, healthy, and well cared for. I would absolutely trust Emma with my pet again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and attentive pet sitter.
Emma was an exceptional pet sitter while we were away. She took wonderful care of both our dog and cat, making sure they were well fed, had fresh water, and were comfortable and happy at all times. She walked and groomed them, brushed their teeth, and spent time playing enrichment games with our dog, which we really appreciated. Emma was extremely responsible and reliable, and her communication was excellent — she regularly sent updates and check-ins, which gave us real peace of mind. Emma is one of the most caring and supportive young people I have the pleasure of knowing. Schedule
Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I have four days off each week and a flexible schedule, which allows me to plan my time around pet care and give animals the attention they deserve. I actually enjoy getting out and breaking up my routine, and spending time with pets is something I look forward to. Whether it’s regular check-ins, longer visits, or sticking to a specific routine, I’m reliable, flexible, and happy to adjust my schedule to meet each pet’s needs.
