I'm a freelancer who fits dog sitting and walking in around my gigs! I find it's a relaxing side hustle, that keeps me moving during my down time. When I am doing in home dog care, I'm careful never to leave the house for to long at a time, and your pups get my full attention when I'm with them!

For in home sitting, a quick run down of your daily routine is extremely helpful. Explanations for your walks, home care information about behavior, medical conditions, and likes/dislikes are all useful to! Finally, any commands your pet knows, and your trained cue words/gestures are helpful!
A typical day
My goal is always to give pets a stimulating and enjoyable time. Exploring the park to find all the good smells, playing tug/fetch, and taking a walk at your pup's pace are all on the table!

I've had dogs 8 dogs in my lifetime, and currently care for 3. Professionally, I have cared for pets of all shapes, sizes, and ages. I work carefully with owners to ensure every animal gets the specialized care it needs. I have personal and professional experience with both puppies and elder pets, dogs with medical conditions, and anxious dogs.

Emma is so patient and caring with the puppers. She took the time to get to know them and their special traits both good and annoying. She took their reactivity and sensitivities in stride, with calm and patience. We got a pupdate every evening with pictures and a full description of the day. Our doggos are usually pretty anxious when we are gone, but when we got home, there were no high pitched screeches of anxiety, just excitement to see us, and I contribute that to Emma setting them up for success while she was here! Emma's our #1 choice when we need a pet sitter!
Emma is the best dog sitter! She's so kind and communicative and knowledgable. We have a pretty high-energy black lab and Emma was so great about giving her all the attention, exercise, and activities needed to tire her out, even on hot summer days! She also sends detailed nightly updates and will call if anything arises throughout the day so it's easy to not feel worried and know Emma will let us know if anything comes up. We can't recommend her enough!
Emma was a god-send for me as a new puppy owner, recently moved to the Twin Cities. I was so happy I was able to find someone reliable and trust-worthy to help care for Peanut. Emma has not only done short, hourly jobs for me - just spending a couple hours with brand new puppy, feeding her, walking her, playing with her while I had to work - but also weekend trips away. Emma is very knowlegable and willing to do whatever it takes to help my reactive/anxious young puppy. She always asks the right questions and is an open communicator. It makes me so happy to get the "pup-date" picture/text at the end of the night/session. Knowing my pup is in safe and competant hands has made life much easier as new pup-parent!
