I currently work a 8am - 4pm job, but have some flexibility, where I can stop by during my lunch break mid-day or can move around my start or end time a little to fit your schedule. Fridays I work from home too. Weekends change a lot, but for the most part, I’m usually in town.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's safety is my number 1 priority. I can be flexible with how you’d like me to take care of your animals and I’ll follow any rules you have. If your animals aren’t allowed on the couch or need crated, I will follow suit. Especially when it comes to training, I know consistency is key. If your dog needs socializing, I’m happy to take them to dog parks. If they need exercise, I’ll play with them, throw a ball around, take them for long walks, take them on hikes, etc.
Information Emma L. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if there are specific triggers your pet might have. If they don't like their ears or feet being touched, or if they are very protective of toys or food, those are important notes for me to know. Also, if you have any tips on their environment and how to get your pet to listen better or food rules (e.g. no treats, they are food motivated and can have lots of treats, they don't get along with this other animal, they will grab food from counters, avoid this corner on walks, etc.), those are all helpful to ensure I keep your pet safe and treat them as you would.
A typical day
I love to hike, run, and take walks, so if your dog would love some exercise, I'm your girl! I'll take them to dog parks, play with them or throw toys, take them with me on hikes, etc. Dog or cat, if your pet likes to play or needs exercise, I'm happy to help!

Trustworthy animal enthusiast
Pet care experience
Growing up, I always had animals around. I pet-sat for neighbors several times a year and did dog-walking regularly around the neighborhood. We also always had pets in my family, taking in a variety of pets and rescues. In college, I took an animal behavior class. Since graduating, I have pet-sat for friends and family members from 80 lb dogs to 10 lb dogs, as well as cats. I also volunteer at Best Friends Animal Shelter.

Reviews

Emma did great with our senior dog and provided daily updates and photos. She made us feel really confident with all the questions she asked upfront about his routine, medications, and comfort needs. It was clear she genuinely cared about keeping him happy and stress-free while we were away. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Emma again.

Perfect experience! Left the house clean, gave us updates and spent quality time with the cat

Emma sent lots of pics and spent plenty of time with my cat!

Emma was amazing, going above and beyond! Emma came early to meet the dogs and they fell in love with her instantly. She provided pictures and very thorough reports daily. I knew they were in great hands!
