Pet care experience
Outdoorsy and Active :)
Hi! I’m Emma :) I’m experienced in taking care of a wide variety of pets from a highly reactive Akita to newborn kittens. I also have limited experience with lizards and I’m always ready to learn how to take care of new pets with special needs! My favorite days are when I get to go on hikes, but if your pet lives a less active lifestyle I also enjoy a rest day on the couch.

Safety, trust & environment
When I care for dogs, I like to spend lots of time playing outside, going on walks or hikes. However, the way I care for your pet will be heavily guided by their individual needs and your usual routine. Being away from their owner can be stressful for your pet, so I strive to keep their daily routine as consistent as possible to make the experience better for them.
Ratings and reviews
Really awesome to work with!!! Emma took great care of my dogs! I will gladly have Emma watch my dogs again! :)
We contacted Emma in mid-July for a September booking. Our pup is leash reactive to some dogs/people, and we wanted to ensure that Emma was comfortable and experienced with reactive dogs. We met three times of varying lengths and places, and Emma was wonderfully capable each time. Our pup took to her immediately (always a positive sign!) and came home happy from his interactions with Emma. When we left our pup with her for a 5 day stay in September, she regularly sent photos to show how he was doing. Emma exhibits calmness, responsibility, understanding and carefulness in her handling of our pup. We highly recommend her and will be booking her again.

My daughter Emma has always loved having and caring for pets. Our family was never without a cat or two and had a dog in the house the majority of her childhood. We got a yellow lab, Mari, when she was 2 years and they grew up together. Emma was responsible for assisting in taking care as soon she was old enough. After Mari passed Emma talked me into allowing her to foster an Akita, Whiskey. We had her for the last 2 years Emma was in high school, right up until she left for college. Emma was Whiskey’s primary caregiver during that time. She was a high energy dog and Emma enjoyed spend time training and taking her on hikes. She’s also a wonderful cat mom. Her cat Cora has been living with her for the last year. I’m sure Emma would take great care of your pet(s). She loves animals and would care for them as if they were her own.

Schedule
I work in the medical field with a consistent schedule, so my availability stays consistent. I try to match my daily routine on my days off, so your pets’ routine will be very consistent throughout my caring for them.
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsover 101 lbsEmma can host up to 5 drop-ins per day
- I like to get to know each animal's personalities as I get to spend more time with them. I do like to know if they have any behavioral issues (dog-aggression, biting, etc.) or triggers as well as any medical conditions I should be aware of.
