I love dogs and miss my own!
I grew up with dogs and just lost my 16 year old dachshund, I can’t commit to another yet but would love to hang out with other peoples dogs! My wife and I have fostered a few dogs over the years. My dog had congestive heart failure and I had been cooking her meals and giving her medications around the clock for 3 1/2 years. So now I have all of that of care and love to give to other animals :)

Schedule
I live in the West Village and can make my own schedule based on what clients and their animals need. I am such a homebody and there’s really not much I have to do that comes before the animals. My schedule is very flexible if you book in advance. I love this job and I am really grateful I found it. Animals are so positive and pure and healing! I love always having one by my side.

I live in a pet friendly walk up building 2 blocks from the water near a dog park. So if your pet is small and likes to be carried I would be happy to carry them up and down. Or if they’re big and comfortable with stairs that’s great too! This neighborhood is quiet and calm and I love going for walks and would be happy to go to the dog park if your dog likes to socialize. My apartment gets a lot of light too which animals love for sun bathing!
A typical day
I will take your dog for long walks if that’s what they like or just to relax in the park if they’re lazy like my dachshund was. It really depends on the animals personality!

- I need to know if they need any medications while in my care or have any special dietary restrictions. Have they had any past injuries? Just let me know so they can be comfortable and have the best time possible!
