Tail-wagging care in the heart of Shrewsbury!
Nestled in the centre of Shrewsbury, our spacious home with an enclosed garden is the perfect retreat for your beloved pet. Looking after animals has always come naturally to me. Back when I was in school, friends and family would call on me whenever they were going away, knowing their dogs would be in the best hands. These days, we love hosting my partner’s parents’ dog (a welsh terrier) for longer stays - he’s got his favourite spot! I’ve grown up surrounded by animals, sharing life with three inquisitive cats who taught me the value of gentle care and attentive companionship. What sets me apart isn’t just years of hands-on experience - it’s the love, trust, and calm I bring to every wagging tail and content purr.

Emma was amazing, looked after Bugs and Missy for the afternoon and evening. They both had a great time and were very relaxed.

Emma has been fantastic at keeping me updated with pictures and messages, and listened closely to all my wishes and advice for how to best to look after Griff. Emma was fantastic with Tinkerbell and Charlie. Very attentive and proactive. Especially with my older dog who had a small problem, however Emma acted quickly and compassionately and kept me updated. Emma sent lovely pictures of them enjoying walks, and cuddles on the sofa. Would definitely use her again.. if she is willing!
Following an initial ‘meet & greet’ with Emma, Levi went for a first full day play date and settled right in. Lovely long morning walk & a shorter, shaded, afternoon stroll (very warm weather) and perfect updates with photos during the day from Emma. Next up is an overnight stay to give him, (& Emma!) a full taster prior to a holiday stay soon after.

We have a spacious home with a safe enclosed garden - perfect for outdoor pottering or zoomies, depending on your dog’s style! Andy’s grown up with dogs all his life, so between the two of us, your pup will be surrounded by kindness, understanding, and plenty of love.

A typical day
From the moment the kettle’s on, your dog is part of the action. They could be trotting beside me for a river walk by The Mount or to the Quarry, sat with us while we work or snuggled on the sofa. It’s a simple, happy routine built around attention and a whole lot of love.
