Hi! My name is Em Johnson and I live in Koreatown working as a part-time barista and full-time writer. I love dogs and have taken care of my rescue Australian Shepherd for ten years! He recently passed, but I wanted to keep sharing my love for these pets. On any day, I am active and energetic in my work, making me a great option in entertaining and caring for your dog. I’ve worked with puppies and seniors and am accustomed to medication and care needs.

Eleanor had a great time with Emma! Eleanor made herself at home immediately, getting cozy in the dog bed Emma already had. Emma was great with Eleanor through the rain and the fire works and even carried her up five flights of stairs while the elevator was broken. I picked Eleanor up and she was wiggly and happy. Thank you!!!
Emma really saved my Thanksgiving with my family. This is my first time traveling on the road with my dog and I was really fortunate to find that Emma was available for the holiday weekend. She gave Chispa two long walks a day and seemed really open to Chispa’s affectionate quirks. Emma had her dog pass recently and still had the toys and accessories available in her apartment. I really appreciated seeing how much she loved and spoiled her animal. It’s really special to be able to have your dog taken care of by someone who loves animals so deeply. I definitely will be requesting Emma again.
Emma has taken care of my dogs on countless occasions and they are in LOVE with her. There is no one I trust more with my dogs. They are large and have special needs and Emma tends to their every need and so I don’t have to worry at all when I go out of town and them then in her care. She’s the best!

Schedule
I’m aware of the routine dogs/cats require and am easy to adapt to anything. If your pet needs special attention, I’m there! Taking care of a dog is habitual to me at this point. I am always able to take time with the pet and give them the care and attention they deserve.

Safety, trust & environment
I normally took care of my own dog by walking twice a day for around 15-20 minutes each walk. Food is also twice a day, directly after the walks. Depending on frequency, I give medication with a little bit of peanut butter as a reward.
A typical day
Waking up is always fun. We can hangout for a moment and then take our first walk of the day. We go at their pace and when we return, it’s breakfast time! I love taking pets to the beach or to the park. If not that, cuddles on the couch is always fun, or playing with toys in the home. Once dinner time comes, we go on our final walk, make dinner upon our return, and then enjoy the evening.
