When dropping in or house sitting, I always: • Ensure that all doors, windows, and/or gates are locked to keep your animals safe. • Keep the area and your animals clean! Let me know where bathing/grooming supplies are in case of muddy paws. I’m happy to bathe them if needed. • Abide strictly by your feeding schedule, and keep the water bowl full at all times. • Groom your animals to prevent excess shedding, if applicable/needed. • Keep an eye on your pet closely to make sure they’re healthy. If I suspect something might be wrong with your dog or cat, I will message you immediately with my reasoning and send you pictures when applicable. • And finally, my favorite part (if they want it, of course): give them TONS of cuddles and attention! Before any of my appointments, I will have a detailed conversation with you about your specific wants and needs. I’ll need to learn how your dog or cat behaves and what their lifestyle is like. If you have pet supplies at home available for use, please show me where they are (leashes, harnesses, food/treats, medications, grooming supplies, toys, etc). I will happily update you and provide you peace of mind with adorable photos of your fur babies. You’re also always welcome to contact me or check in at any time during my stays, as often as you’d like - you’re never bothering me, and it’s really important to communicate any worries or concerns about your pets!
