I do not currently have dogs with me since I’m a student but I have plenty of long breaks throughout the day as well as non-eventful nights which gives me plenty of time for pet care. Back home, I would do my farm chores and care for my animals twice a day on average but I also like to spend some extra time out there most days.

I always like being aware of rules and boundaries, especially when I’m in someone else’s space and would 100% respect the home, including the pets. I also think it’s important to clean up any sort of mess made and to be very open if something were to happen at any point in time.

Une journée type
I love to match the energy of the dog/dogs that I’m with. If it’s an older dog, we can walk at a slower pace and I can recognize when they start getting tired. If it’s a younger dog, I would love to take them on a jog and try to keep up with a more fast paced exercise to help both us be more healthy. I honestly love walking anywhere but I do prefer natural areas or hiking spots for longer walks sometimes.

I've taken care of dogs and all sorts of pets while growing up on a farm. I've also been both an overnight house sitter and dog groomer for a professional dog breeder.

Emma was great and made staying in our home with our babies so easy!
Emma was very communicative and thorough in caring for my pups while I was on an extended vacation. From our initial meeting, she showed confidence and her knowledge of how to care for a variety of dogs. I will happily contact her again to help with my fur babies!
Emma was simply perfect. We did a meet and greet before and Bronco was comfortable with her immediately. She took good care of my dog and also felt super comfortable leaving her at my house knowing everything was going to be ok and most importantly my dog would feel calm with her. Will definitely use her several times moving forward.
My dog absolutely loves Emma. I had no worries at all while leaving him in her care. It seems like he had the best time with her while we were away and she sent us so many great pictures of him! We will be hiring her again for any other vacation we go on. It is so nice to have someone we trust in the neighborhood!
