Safety, trust & environment
I mostly offer drop in visits and dog walks, so I can spend quality time giving pets plenty of love and attention right in the comfort of their own homes. I always follow any instructions you have - whether that’s feeding, playtime, giving medications or just some extra cuddles. For cats staying with me, I would be happy to welcome them into my calm, cozy home alongside my two cats, who usually get along well with others. I just ask for a little notice so we can set up a meet and greet - this way your cat can say hello to mine first and we can make sure everyone feels happy and comfortable. Whether I’m popping in to visit your home, going for a walk with your pooch or having your pet stay with us, I’m all about making sure they feel safe, relaxed and loved.
Information Emma H. would like to know about your pet
It’s really helpful for me to know a bit about your pet ahead of time. I like to find out if they have a feeding schedule and when mealtimes usually are. I also ask about their favorite toys and what motivates them - whether it’s treats, balls or a specific toy. Knowing their energy levels helps me plan the right amount of play and rest. If there are any special needs, for example if they require medications, brushing or teeth brushing, just let me know. I’m happy to help with whatever your pet needs!
A typical day
I’m all about enrichment and keeping pets happy and engaged, so playtime is a big part of my care! Whether it’s chasing balls, batting at toys or exploring new games, I love to keep tails wagging and whiskers twitching. I’m also happy to provide some training if there’s anything you’d like your dog to learn and even cats! I’ve taught our own cats to sit for dinner, give paw and spin, although they’re pretty food motivated, so treats are definitely part of the process!

Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for them. My parents have a toy sized Cockapoo named Stroodle, who we’ve loved for the past 7 years since he was just a tiny pup. I’ve also looked after a bouncy Springer Spaniel and two big, lovable black Labradors, amongst some others so no matter the size or energy level, they all have a place in my heart! Alongside dogs, animals have always been part of my life. I’ve had six cats over the years—currently two live with my parents and two live with me and my partner (Beans and Toast, our cheeky duo). I grew up with hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, and ducks, so I’m comfortable caring for a variety of pets. I’m confident with feeding, walking, grooming, and giving medication or treatments when needed. Most importantly, I make sure every dog gets the exercise, attention, and love they deserve. Whether it’s an energetic pup ready for an adventure or a gentle senior who prefers slow strolls.

Reviews
Emma looked after my cats and ponies. Her attention to detail is second to none and she’s such a wonderful human being. Animals were so happy and house was immaculate. Very excited to have her again
Bobby loved his walks with Emma, he was very tired out afterwards! Emma was great with Bobby and his interactions with other dogs

Em is absolutely wonderful. She’s been my dog walker for quite a while now and my dog Chase just adores her. My schedule is a bit all over the place, so I’m always making last minute bookings with Em. But she has been so accommodating and will always make herself available around my crazy schedule. I literally don’t know what I’d do without her, Em is just fabulous!

Emma has been amazing, come rain or shine. Thank you so much 🐾
