About Emma H.
Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced-in yard, which allows for safe outdoor breaks and supervised playtime. I also have a very friendly, well-socialized 5-year-old Golden Retriever who is gentle, calm, and used to being around other dogs. She does well with both playful and relaxed pets, and I always make sure introductions are slow and supervised to ensure everyone is comfortable.

Information Emma H. would like to know about your pet
To make sure your dog is safe, comfortable, and happy in my care, here are a few helpful things I like to know ahead of time: * Any medical conditions, allergies, or medications * Feeding schedule and portion instructions * Typical daily routine (walk times, potty habits, energy level) * How your dog behaves on a leash (pulling, reactivity, etc.) * How they do around other dogs and new people * Any triggers (loud noises, bikes, men/women, etc.) * Recall ability and off-leash comfort (if applicable) * Crate training details (if you use a crate) * Favorite toys, games, or calming routines * Any behaviors I should be aware of (jumping, chewing, anxiety, etc.)
A typical day
I make sure dogs in my care get a balance of exercise, play, and relaxation based on their personality and energy level. Daily activities may include: * Neighborhood walks for fresh air and enrichment * Backyard playtime in my fully fenced yard * Games like fetch, tug, and sniff-based enrichment activities * Supervised time in my splash pad with toys (on warm days, if your dog enjoys water play) * Quiet downtime so pets can rest and feel comfortable I always tailor activities to each dog — whether they prefer active play or just relaxed company and short walks. My goal is to keep them happy, safe, and feeling at home while you’re away.

Pet care experience
Hi! I’m a teacher with summers off, which means I have a flexible schedule, plenty of availability, and lots of patience for caring for pets. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m dependable, communicative, and calm — traits that help pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I understand how important it is to have peace of mind when trusting someone with your home and your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously.
Reviews
I highly recommend my daughter Emma as a pet caregiver. She has always had a special love for animals, especially her Golden Retriever, Millie, who is truly part of the family. She treats Millie with so much love, patience, and attention, and I know she would care for your pets the same way. As a second-grade teacher, she is naturally kind, dependable, and patient. I would trust her completely with any pet and know she will provide a safe, loving and caring experience. Your pets will be in great hands with Emma.
