I have had cats and dogs since the day I was born and I have never had an empty house since. I currently own two cats and a dog myself and it gives me such joy being able to take care of others people's pets. I have watched over friends and families dogs and cats since I can remember and I have never had a bad experience!

Emma is a really attentive and loving pet owner. She has experience with multiple different types of animals (primarily dogs, cats, and chickens) and is just generally an animal-person. She is very loving and knowledgeable about animals. We shared a pet cat together in grad school and she was one of the best pet owners I've ever seen. The cat was medically complex with a lot of illnesses and needs and she not only took him to every vet appointment but paid for all his treatments and worked with the vet to find the best treatment for him. She is also a very organized and diligent person. I've seen her juggle many jobs/tasks and she always gets the job done and loves what she does. I leave my own animals with her (now that I am moved out) and she babies them the entire time we are away.

My schedule is flexible, enabling me to accommodate feeding times, walks, play sessions, and any special needs a pet may have. I take pride in being organized and ensuring that each pet gets the time and attention they deserve, whether it’s daily check-ins or extended stays. Caring for animals isn’t just a task—it’s a fulfilling part of my life that I genuinely enjoy.

I will not be allowed to bring animals into my home sadly. I am more than able to come to you or pick up your dog and hang out with them for the day!

A typical day
When caring for pets, I love engaging them in fun and enriching activities tailored to their personalities and energy levels. For dogs, that might mean exciting games of fetch, long walks to explore new scents, or interactive play with their favorite toys. For cats, I enjoy keeping them entertained with feather wands, puzzle toys, or simply creating cozy spaces for them to relax and feel secure. My goal is to ensure every pet feels happy, stimulated, and loved while under my care!
