I absolutely love dogs and animals :)

I had a chocolate lab for 11 years who unfortunately passed away a few weeks ago. I would therefore love the opportunity to look after other dogs and give them all the love and attention they need. I’ve also looked after friends and families dogs lots of times before, including housitting for a few days. I’m fairly new to the app and joined summer ‘25.

I will take your dog out for regular toilet breaks, give them lots of cuddles and lovely walks. I love hiking so I have no problem with long walks if necessary.

Emma was brilliant! Skye and Emma formed a bond from the word go, As Emma was the owner of a Chocolate Lab in the past, she knew all the foibles of the breed. We also got on well. And my cat Jeannie liked her as well. Which is good.

I work from home on Fridays so can housesit on a Friday and over the weekend if I’m free. I’m also available for early morning or evening visits/walks throughout the week if needed.

Feeding & Care: - What food do they have, and how much should I give (measurements)? - What is their feeding schedule? - Where is everything kept (food, treats, lead, toys, cleaning supplies)? - Are there any foods or treats they should not have? Bathroom: - How often do they need toilet breaks? - What’s their signal when they need to go? Walking & Exercise: - What kind of leash or harness do they use? - What are their usual walk times and routine? - How long should walks be? - Can they ever be off the lead, or should they always stay on? - How is their recall? Any specific commands or hand signals? - How are they with other dogs (or people/kids) on walks? - Do they have any triggers (e.g., bikes, loud noises, other animals)? Behavior & Temperament: - Do they ever bite, and if so, what tends to trigger this? - How are they generally with strangers, kids, and visitors? - Do they like cuddles and belly rubs, or prefer space? - What games or toys do they enjoy most (fetch, tug, puzzle toys)? - Do they have any fears (e.g., thunder, fireworks, vacuums)?
