My home is small and cosy, which makes it easy to keep an eye on everyone and give dogs their own space when they need it. My garden is connected to my neighbours’ gardens and is fenced at the front of the properties. My Collie is quite sensitive but loves puppies and is friendly with lots of female dogs. I prefer introductions to happen calmly in a neutral space, with the fields near my house being a great place to say hello. Where appropriate, I’d prefer for the dogs to meet off lead. Pups are welcome on the furniture and can settle wherever they’re most comfortable. I also have crates in several sizes if your dog is crate trained or prefers a more structured sleep routine. If anyone needs a little space, I can easily use gates or crates to keep things calm and prevent anyone becoming overwhelmed. For walks, I have long lines from 5–20m, so dogs can have plenty of freedom while staying secure if their recall isn’t reliable. Before each stay, I’ll make sure I have your vet details and know about any special requirements or medications your pup needs.
