I’m a substitute teacher throughout the school year, so my time is currently very flexible! I make sure my own cat is fed and loved on twice a day, pairing meal times with play and petting. If the weather is nice, Aquavit can be put in her harness and come out on the fire escape with me to sniff the big wide world while I water the plants. I try to make sure pet care is prioritised at mealtimes, but also integrated throughout the day. When I’m with your cat, you can expect the same level of care and attention, tailored to your cat’s needs!

Please let me know if they are friendly with other dogs, or children, so I can protect your dog’s boundaries and everyone can be stress free and safe!
A typical day
I live enrichment that’s both physical and mental— foraging treats or kibble by following scents, treat filled toys, or even a walk along the beach to play fetch along the water. I want a happily tired out pet by the time I bring them home to you.

I’m a lifelong cat lover with five years of cat experience, including a little baby girl of my own. My goal with every cat I care for is to treat them with the same love and care. I am confident in pill administration, flea and tick treatment, and well-versed in harness/leash training for extra enrichment. I’m a to-the-letter schedule follower for all things your baby needs, and happy to also provide light housework and plant care.

Emma has taken immaculate care of my two wonderful kitties, Stevie and Birdie, when I leave for vacations or long weekends. They are my go-to person for cat-sitting, and I always know my girls are well taken care of. Communication is stellar, and I receive daily updates and photos. It's always hard to leave your pets when you go on vacation, but knowing Emma will be there while I'm gone takes all that anxiety away. If you need someone who is reliable, attentive, and treats your cat like they would treat their own, Emma is your person.
MJ was the perfect sitter for our senior cat, Ruby. As our girl got older, she got more cranky and had a harder time taking her meds, but with MJ we knew she was in good hands. They handled her med schedule, her affection and even a little playtime, while also taking care of my many plants, and taking in the mail. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a dedicated, caring sitter for their home and pets!
