Availability
I work fully remote so I have pretty much open availability during the week (even last minute) and during the weekend. This also means I’m able to spend the entire day at your home with your pet! I prefer to walk in the morning/ early afternoon, however I am down for any time if I am available. I do not offer boarding (have a very sassy cat) but love house sitting/ overnights & am often available for that. There is no time limit for the stays as well.

I have experience animal proofing spaces, keeping an animal on a leash and properly fitted harnesses (including cats) ensuring they don’t eat anything on the floor, keeping them away from other dogs, keeping them close on the leash and I am very patient! I also have experience administering medication (injection/syringe/oral drops/pills), training puppies (8 weeks +), and keeping the dog calm.

Let me know if there are any specific behavioral details you’d like me to know! I am pretty chill and can deal with most animals but I prefer communication before about anything :) If they are anxious or shy, aggressive, bad around other dogs etc just let me know please so I can alter my approach.
A typical day
I can take the dogs on long walks, to go play fetch, play with toys, (if this is part of their usual routine) take them to the dog park, give lots of pets and belly rubs and make sure they’re full and hydrated! With cats, I could sit for hours with a laser and a teaser toy. I love both equally but between you and me, I’m a cat person. I have two cats so I’m able to do the litter box, feed them and help keep their anxiety at bay.

Hi! I’m Emma and I’m a recent GW graduate who works fully remotely in sales! I have over ten years of experience taking care of pets and I’ve been on rover for a few years now. At home in New York,I have a golden retriever named Mia and a tuxedo kitty named Molly! Here in DC, I have a 5 year old orange tabby cat named Clementine. I love animals and I enjoy caring for my pets at home/pet sitting/dog walking/house sitting. I have many clients who have turned into regulars from Rover who were very happy with my services. I’m super energetic, love to stay active and i try to walk daily (even in the winter). I would love to have a furry friend join me! I booked her to stay with my dog at my apartment overnight, but had a last minute change in travel plans where I only needed her to come during the day. She was totally gracious about it. I'd definitely book her again in the future!
