Cat loving (of course!) retiree
I recently retired early from working at Scotland's national public health organisation leading on a public health approach to climate and sustainable environments. I continue to have a private business as a life/work coach. This means that my time is quite flexible, which I have discovered can be most helpful in responding to any unexpected developments during cat care. I’m currently living with a rather clingy but adorable Ragdoll called Max. As a confirmed cat lover I can't get enough of them and just love meeting new cats and trying out my cat whispering skills and that's why I do cat sitting (but don't tell Max...!). I’ve lived with various cats most of my adult life and so I know different temperaments can require very different approaches.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a bit of a thing for house plants (40 at last count....) and so I am more than happy to look after any plants for extended sitting. Also happy to discuss any small chores, dependant on the time needed to prioritise cat care.

Emma took very good care of our cat Rocky, he loved cuddles! Emma sent daily updates and everything was great when we returned and Rocky was a happy boy.
Emma takes fantastic care of my girls. It is obvious that she spends time getting to know them, and she sent me some lovely pictures of them playing with their fav toys and giving her some cuddles! She also took good care of my flat. I also very much appreciated her flexibility when I got muddled with dates! Thanks so much Emma!
This was the first time Emma had looked after my 2 boys. I shall certainly use her again if she is free. She has a deep understanding of cats' behaviour and problems and I felt happy leaving my poorly cat in her care.

Emma’s communication was excellent throughout. She sent lots of nice pictures of my girls playing and having cuddles with her, and left the flat nice and clean. Would definitely recommend her as a cat sitter, and would love if she wanted to look after my two again. Thanks Emma!

Schedule
I work from home most days of the week and so do cat sitting visits before and after work during the week. At weekends I am flexible.
