I have a flexible schedule and can see to your pet’s needs almost any time of day, any day of the week. I regularly update my calendar so that if something comes up, there are no conflicts.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs ahead of time and we can discuss how I can best accommodate them. I prefer to meet before conducting a service to ensure it’s a good fit, but I understand there may not always be a chance to do so.
A typical day
I love to take dogs for a long walk, letting them dictate the pace and sniff all the neighborhood smells. I am happy to tack on a fetch session, too! As for cats, I find that a short game of laser pointer or other stimulating toys usually fits the bill, sometimes followed by cuddles (pet permitting).

Pet care experience
I’ve been a pet sitter and owner on and off for many years for family members, friends, and acquaintances. The length of care has ranged just from letting them out to go to the bathroom to almost 2 weeks of care with a walk 2x/day. I have 2 cats myself and believe animals need just as much love and care as humans do. As the owner of an orange cat that lives up to their reputation, I understand that sometimes a fully-attentive playtime or long walk is what our pets really need to let out their energy and be able to relax, especially while their routine is disrupted and the family is away. I would love to drop in to help your pup get out their energy before you’re home from work or get to know their quirks over a weekend while you’re out of town.

I would highly recommend Emma!! She was always on time, great communication, and gave me a little report after my dog’s walks. I couldn’t have felt in better hands for someone to help walk my dogs. She went above and beyond and when it rained she dried my dogs off.
Emma has watched Sophie, our golden retriever, in our home many times while we have been out of town. Sophie goes crazy with happiness every time she sees Emma and Emma is always very loving with Sophie. I highly recommend Emma as a dog sitter, she is very reliable, responsible, kind and caring. She is respectful and easy to communicate with. Sophie has several needs as she has gotten older and Emma has been able to take care of all of Sophie's needs completely. We can really enjoy our vacations with no worries when Sophie is with Emma.
