I’ve been petsitting since my early teens, and have been doing so professionally for about 3 years now. I have ample experience with all kinds of pets - from your family cats and dogs to chinchillas, birds, reptiles, snakes, you name it! Through raising my own fur babies since I was a child and my professional experience, I’m comfortable with all kinds of special needs, disabilities, energy levels, and care preferences. I’m comfortable giving medication, following strict routines, or just giving a little extra care and love to senior pets. I love all the crazy personalities our fur babies come with - whether that means sitting on the floor next to your chronically shy cat’s favorite hiding spot or playing hour long tug of war games with your ball of energy puppy. I love and care for every animal like it’s my own, so you can trust that your pets are in great hands and are receiving the utmost care while you’re away (and expect a million pictures of them being cute lol).

I have a 2 bedroom apartment that houses one friendly, but extremely skittish cat. She will probably say hi to any other furry guests, but is too shy to play! We are a non-smoking household in a safe, quiet, and very walkable neighborhood in inner SE Portland.

Emma made some great judgement calls in a difficult situation when my cat was struggling with me being away and having to have someone else administer her meds. Emma was extremely communicative and put my cat’s needs above anything else. I was so grateful to have such an experienced, capable, and compassionate sitter watch my Chloe. I will be booking Emma again, highly recommend them!
Emma is fantastic! She did daily checkins for my cat while I was out of town for a long trip and was very reliable and communicative. I will definitely be booking with her again in the future :)

Schedule
I work from home at a very flexible job, so I am available at all times of the day! I'm able to manage multiple walks, feeding times, playtime, and making sure your animal has a companion while you're away.
