I work full-time Monday–Friday from 8:30am–4:00pm, so I’m best suited for pets that are comfortable during working hours. I’m available for morning and evening care on weekdays, with much more flexibility on weekends for house sitting, cat care, and longer stays.

I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed while keeping to their usual routine as much as possible. In a pet owner’s home, I follow feeding schedules carefully, keep litter trays clean, refresh water regularly, and give plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. I can also ensure the safety of your home, keeping things clean and tidy and be completely respectful. I can also water plants. I’m happy to send photo updates for peace of mind and always keep the home tidy and secure.

Before caring for a pet, I like to know about their usual routine, feeding schedule, personality, and any special needs or behaviours. It’s really helpful to know how they are around new people, whether they have any medical conditions or medications, and what helps them feel comfortable and relaxed. For cats, I also like to know about litter tray routines, favourite toys, hiding spots, and whether they prefer lots of interaction or more independent space. I want to make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while their owner is away.
A typical day
A typical day depends on each pet’s personality and routine, but I always focus on making them feel comfortable, cared for, and relaxed. For cats, this usually includes feeding, fresh water, cleaning litter trays, playtime with toys, brushing if they enjoy it, and lots of calm companionship and attention. I love spending quality time with pets, whether that’s interactive play, cuddle time on the sofa, keeping them company while working from home on weekends, or simply giving them a calm and reassuring presence in their own home. I always try to stick closely to their normal routine so they feel safe and settled while their owners are away. For more active pets, I’m happy to include longer play sessions and enrichment activities to keep them entertained and stimulated.

Emma looked after Seamus and Mable while I was at a wedding / out of Glasgow for a few days and she was tremendous! She made sure to get all information needed for their care, from their dry food routine, wet food schedule to how much they needed brushed and what toys they’d prefer her to play with when she was round. She sent me photos every morning and evening when she was round, and let me know how they were getting on and what they were up to when she was there. Even the most minute details made me feel like they were in good hands! I have already scheduled her to look after them in June for my holiday and for July when I’m away for another wedding.
