Responsible couple with no kids
Particularly experienced with (and obsessed with!) dachshunds, having had them in my family for years. Have worked with puppies as part of a well regarded ‘puppy yoga’ company which supported careful socialisation of the animals. Comfortable with larger breeds too, having walked huskies and golden retrievers for friends and family.

Meatballs favourite home away from home. Emma and Marco always take such good care of our little boy, lots of pictures, excursions and love. We're extremely grateful to have found them.
Emma and Marco were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and they provided overnight care for both of my Dachshunds, who thoroughly enjoyed their stay. My two dogs are quite confident and adapted to life with Emma and Marco with ease. We are very grateful to have found someone who was familiar with the breed and accepted their uniquely mischievous personalities.
Emma and Marco took brilliant care of our miniature dachshund Meatball. He has come back to us healthy, clean and thoroughly stimulated. We are very grateful to have found Emma and Marco, highly recommend.
We’ve been sending Peanut and Butter to Emma and Marco’s doggy day care and it’s been amazing. They’re always so excited to go and come home happy, tired, and clearly well looked after. You can tell they genuinely love the girls as much as we do, which means everything. It’s such a comfort knowing they’re in the best hands. 100% recommend!! Many more bookings to come!!

Schedule
As we don’t have children, we are flexible and love spending time around dogs, having both had them in our family. My partner and I both work from home for half of the week each so have good availability in our schedules. On weekends, we like exploring the Essex countryside.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a spacious but enclosed garden and there are plenty of walks we can take dogs on straight from our front door. We have a hard-floored kitchen diner with a sofa, which leads to the garden - perfect for pets.
A typical day
We are outdoorsy people and love walks around the local fields or longer hikes at the coast / forest / heath. We can play in the garden or provide a quiet space for your dog to take some time out.
