I currently work part time 5 days a week from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. My mornings and afternoons, as well as weekends, are free. That would mean your pup or cat would be alone for those 2 and a half hours on weekdays.

I like to know their activity level so I can appropriately prepare to keep your pet happy and entertained. I also like to know their regular feeding schedule and typical treat times. Additionally, any behavioral patterns like how they behave with new people, and if the pet is on the anxious side, ways to accommodate their anxieties and how to make them feel as safe as possible.
A typical day
Depending on the activity level of your pets, I can walk them, either in their neighborhood or travel to pet friendly parks and trails around Charlottesville. If provided with toys (which I prefer) I can play fetch or other games the pet likes.

I've been active (off and on) on Rover since 2022 and I feel very confident in caring and providing for any and all needs for any breed of dog or cat, as well as hamsters and rabbits. I have also volunteered at a rescue center, working primarily on socializing cats who have been either abandoned, surrendered, or in the process of healing from a physical ailment. I am confident in my ability to require any needs your pet may have. I have experience helping pet owners with drop-in visits to accommodate their schedule to week-long stay ins.

Emma was great! She paid great attention to the dogs and sent photos while we were gone. She even administered meds to one of our dogs and paid close attention to our instructions. The dogs were so comfortable with her that they snuggled with her! We would love to have Emma come back to stay with our dogs!
Emma took good care of our dog, Maisie. We felt very comfortable with our dog staying in her apartment. We have even booked her for some future dog walking.
Emma was wonderful with my pups. After a stressful move she came over and stayed with them all day. I could tell how comforting it was for them to have been in her care. I would definitely recommend her and will be contacting her again. Thank you Emma!
