I have plenty of time in my schedule for pet care. I work part time and attend college full time, and am able to squeeze in drop ins when needed and am available before/after my classes and shifts.

I have my own reliable transportation, and am able to stop by and/or stay at your home with your pets. I have plenty of experience watching cats, and making sure they are always provided with food and water, along with toys and enrichment. As for dogs, I have experience using different techniques when walking to fit the dogs needs, and also always making sure they are provided with the necessities. I have completed many animal behavior course on dogs and cats, and can tell when an animal needs certain attention.

Let me know if your pet has any special behavior or medical needs before hand so they can be dealt with during the stay. If your dog is reactive, please let me know! We can take more private walks to ensure your dog isn’t stressed. As for cats, we can do slow introductions if needed, as well as getting to know what they are comfortable with.
A typical day
A typical day with a dog would look like going on walks around where they are located, and if there is a fenced in yard, definitely getting some play time in! Providing fun activities to keep pets busy is my specialty.

I’ve been pet sitting for 7 years for various different kinds of pets, Including exotic pets (amphibians, reptiles, birds, small animals)! Many people rely on me when it comes to watching their furbabies! I have shelter/kennel experience, and frequently deal with animals who have many different needs and behaviors. I currently work as a veterinary assistant at a local clinic. My specialty is focusing on animal behavior, and making your pets as comfortable as possible. I have taken multiple courses on canine and feline behavior and find it extremely important in what I do. I am fear free certified! I am also currently attending Michigan State University for animal science and pre-veterinary.

Emma watched our cats for four days while we were out of town. She provided great updates and pictures, and we enjoyed our time away knowing the kitties were in such caring, capable hands. We'd definitely recommend Emma!

I had an unusual situation with my dog and Emma handled it well.
Emma was great--she housesat for our two dogs while we were out of town. She sent pictures each day which we greatly appreciated and had excellent communication. Would book again.
