Pet care experience
Dog-loving home eager to fill void
Currently we are unable to have our own dog and therefore love the idea of being able to care for your precious pups when needed. I’ve always been a dog lover, and had the fortunate opportunity of taking in my Nan’s beloved Greyhound/Border Collie/Saluki Molly (pictured) after her sad passing. We were able to give Molly a new lease of life after taking her in at the age of 11 and she lived until the ripe age of 17. Since then, I have taken any opportunity to dog sit, walk and love my friends and families dogs, to fill the hole since Molly passed. I would love to be able to walk and care for your precious pups whenever I can, along with the help of my also dog-loving partner, Tom.

Emma and Tom were fantastic with taking care of Bruno and very attentive to his needs. It was his first visit. I was provided with regular updates on how he was settling in and lots of photos too. I would highly recommend Emma and Tom's household for boarding where the care provided is exceptional
Emma looked after my dog Alma while we were away and she was honestly amazing from start to finish. From the very first message, Emma was so friendly and reassuring, and I felt completely at ease leaving Alma with her. Alma warmed to her straight away, which says everything. Emma kept us updated with lovely photos and videos, and it was so nice seeing how happy Alma was. She had some beautiful walks and adventures, and you could tell she was being really well cared for and loved. When we went to pick her up, she didn’t even want to come home which is always the best sign! I had such peace of mind knowing Alma was with Emma, it was an home away from home and I wouldn’t hesitate to leave her with her again. Highly recommend. Thank you so much for taking such good care of her 🐶💛
Post OPP, our dog Lottie suffered with an upset tummy whilst at Emma's. Emma and Tom went above and beyond with the care they provided for her. Emma brought and cooked chicken and rice for Lottie (Emma's suggestion) and kept me posted asking for my opinion along with her suggestions. She took Lottie to the vet, despite it meaning she had to work from home that day. Both Emma and Tom had to clean up after Lottie throughout her stay and had disturbed nights with having to let her out. All of this was carried out willingly and lovingly. Although I did feel sorry for them and Lottie I didn't feel I needed to catch the next flight home as soon as we arrived for our mini break.When we collected Lottie, Emma said she looked forward to seeing her again. The offer of this was very telling. I was so glad it was Lottie's fourth visit to Emma's and not the first!
Emma and Tom are great with Chief and his quirky ways! He wasn’t that excited to see us when we collected him which is a sign he had a good time! Communication was excellent and we received regular updates on how he was. Thank you Guys
Emma always seems genuinely pleased to see my dog Lottie. Lottie is very happy being left with Emma and she is also then happy to come back home. Perfect! Love the photos that I receive and really appreciate taking home Lottie's bag with clean bowls and towels. Amazing! Thank you x
I felt completely relaxed about leaving Lottie with Emma, despite us not knowing Emma or even having met her, prior to her having Lottie, whilst we went on holiday. When we came to pick Lottie up, I could tell that Lottie had had a good time, as she wasn't anxious to get out of the front door! Once we had had our excited reunion with Lottie, she then hopped back on to Emma's sofa! For a minute I thought she wouldn't want to come home. However, Emma encouraged Lottie off the sofa, enabling taking her home an easy process. Emma sent lovely photos of Lottie in relaxed sleeping positions and out having fun in fields and on muddy walks. I was impressed that Lottie came home with a clean towel in her bag plus some treats that Emma had bought for her. I will no longer feel guilty going away without Lottie as I know she will be very happy going to Emma and Tom's again!

Schedule
I currently work hybrid (2 days a week in the office), and my partner Tom works at home full time meaning someone will always be at home. I am a very active person and love to go on long weekend and evening walks with a furry friend.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced garden which makes our house ideal for senior dogs who may need to be in and out a lot. We are also situated very close to a local football field for quick morning runarounds, and have access to local woodlands for muddier and longer walks. Being able to drive also means I love to visit new dog walking places and let your furry babies have the best run around!
A typical day
I love to take dogs on an adventure, whether it’s a long walk around the park or an even longer walk to a national trust site. I like to play with the dogs in the garden and help stimulate them. It’s also fun to create snuffle mats with dogs and watch them work for a reward. My family also love dogs so I will bring them with my wherever I go to socialise them and give them as many cuddles and play time as possible. We also love to relax at home and cuddle on the sofa with a film, and your dog will of course be in the centre of the sofa for our love and cuddles.
