Emma can care for
Availability
I currently work weekday mornings from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at a dog daycare, so I’m generally available for pet care visits in the afternoons and early evenings. I typically prefer to keep weekends open, but I may be available for drop-ins depending on the situation. My availability can vary slightly, but I do my best to be flexible and communicate clearly to find times that work well for both you and your pet’s needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide pet care in clients’ homes, focusing on keeping pets comfortable in their familiar environment and maintaining their normal routines. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding, litter box care, medication if needed, and any specific care preferences. I aim to provide reliable, attentive care while keeping your pet safe, comfortable, and stress-free while you’re away.
Information Emma G. would like to know about your pet
It’s important for me to know ahead of time about any special needs your pet may have, including medications, health conditions, senior care needs, or mobility concerns. For dogs, I also appreciate knowing about any training routines you’d like me to follow, as well as any reactivity or triggers around other animals, people, or environments. The more information I have, the better I can provide consistent, safe, and stress-free care tailored to your pet’s individual needs.
A typical day
A typical visit depends on each pet’s needs and routine. For dogs, I focus on exercise, playtime, potty breaks, and enrichment activities like walks, fetch, or mental stimulation games. For cats, I provide feeding, litter box care, play and enrichment if they’re interested, and plenty of calm attention or space depending on their personality. I always follow the pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owner is away.

Caring for animals is my passion!
Pet care experience
I have several years of professional animal care experience, including working as a canine handler for a bed bug scent detection K9 team and working in a dog daycare environment. Through these roles, I gained hands-on experience handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments in structured, real-world settings focused on safety, behavior, and positive handling. In addition to my professional background with dogs, I have had cats my entire life and am very comfortable caring for them as well. I understand feline behavior, routines, and how important it is to give cats a calm, low-stress environment where they feel safe and comfortable. I’m confident caring for both dogs and cats, including high-energy, shy, or sensitive animals. My experience has helped me build strong observation skills, patience, and the ability to quickly adapt to each pet’s individual needs. I treat every animal as if they were my own and prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times.
