I have over six years of experience caring for pets for friends, family, and neighbors, as well as a lifetime of experience caring for my own animals. I have owned and cared for dogs since childhood and have experience with cats as both a pet owner and caregiver over the past two years. My experience includes caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I have raised and trained puppies, helped senior dogs remain comfortable and active as they age, and understand the patience and attention that different life stages require. I am comfortable with feeding routines, administering basic care, providing exercise and enrichment, cleaning up after pets, and following any specific instructions to keep your pet happy and healthy. I offer overnight stays, drop-in visits, and dog walking services, and I take pride in providing reliable, attentive care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine and creating a calm, comfortable environment. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, exercise, and household rules to ensure consistency and reduce stress for your pet. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs, making sure they have fresh water, adequate exercise, enrichment, and plenty of affection at the level they’re comfortable with. During walks and outdoor time, I prioritize safety by using secure leashes and remaining attentive to the pet’s surroundings. I also treat my clients’ homes with respect, keeping spaces clean and secure, locking doors and gates, and providing regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their familiar environment until you return home.

Emma took great care of our two dogs and house over the weekend! She was flexible and adapted to our many communication methods when we didn’t have service. She sent regular updates and pics, so we knew we had no worries while we were away. Thank you!
From start to finish, Emma was such a great sitter! She was communicative, coordinated the logistics well, and sent a photo every day of the fur kiddos. She also left our place even neater than when she started. We definitely hope to have her back again!
Emma took great care of our two dogs during a recent weekend stay. She followed our (very lengthy) instructions, stuck to our typical routine, and walked our two rambunctious boys together. She took the time to get to know each of their personalities, and it was obvious they felt comfortable, happy, and well cared for with her. We really appreciated the photos and updates while we were away. She made it easy to relax and enjoy our trip knowing the boys were in such good hands. Emma also went above and beyond by leaving our home spotless. We look forward to having her stay with the boys again soon and highly recommend her. 10/10!
Emma has been a very diligent, loving, and respectful pet caregiver for the entire time I have known her. She cared for my cats the same degree as I would as their owner. Despite how my cats have severe anxiety and have a very specific care regimen, I have come home to them sleeping soundly under her care numerous times. I've also had the opportunity to see her care for her dogs as well, both of which have special dietary restrictions and detailed medication list. Both dogs have thrived under her care and are the sweetest, well trained dogs I have met. I would strongly recommend her to anyone that need a reliable pet caregiver for their loved one. For those quick day trips, emergencies, or long stays away from home, she is the one to pick.

My schedule is very flexible, and I am currently available for morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight pet care throughout the week and on weekends. This flexibility allows me to accommodate last-minute bookings, maintain consistent routines for pets, and provide plenty of attention during visits and stays.

I also appreciate knowing how they interact with other animals and people, as well as what helps them feel comfortable when their owners are away. Every pet is different, so the more I know about their habits and preferences, the better I can provide consistent care and help them feel safe, happy, and at ease. I also like to know about any household rules, emergency contacts, and veterinary information so I’m prepared for any situation.
