Experienced Dog Sitter in Hackney!
Hey! I'm Emma, a 29 year old Glaswegian who has been living in London for the last two years. I lost my French Bulldog, Louis, who crossed the rainbow bridge in August 2024. He was the little love of my life and while I'm not ready to have another dog of my own, I would love to look after yours! Louis was a particular little man with lots of special requirements and advanced health issues so I understand how important it is for you to leave your dog in the safest hands! With that in mind, you can be reassured that I am quick to pick up on when a dog is feeling uncomfortable and might need more space, and I would never voluntarily put them in a situation that would cause them to be reactive. In addition, I am happy to give your pet any oral medication they might need as I was so used to doing this for Louis three times a day. Please just let me know if your dog has any behavioural or health issues so that I can take any necessary precautions for them! I also have experience looking after other dogs, from Border Terriers to Spaniels and Golden Retrievers, so happy with dogs of all sizes and personalities! I live with my boyfriend, Alex, who grew up with dogs and comes from a family of dog lovers. His family currently has three dogs, so he has lots of experience too!

Can't recommend Emma more highly - she looked after Charlie at short notice for a day and it was obvious he'd been looked after amazingly. She kept in touch, sent photos and was super flexible throughout the process. Charlie couldn't have been happier when he got back and I would be more than happy to put him in Emma's care again in the future!
Emma and her boyfriend were just brilliant! They looked after Peggy for 2 days during the heatwave and they went above and beyond to make sure Peggy was as comfortable as she could be. From fans to frozen lick mats, it was so clear to me that 1) they cared and 2) they took the role of looking after Peggy seriously, which is everything you want when you’re trusting someone. Emma sent loads of photos and kept me updated throughout both days. I couldn’t fault them at all, we will definitely be back!
Emma and Alex are absolutely amazing! Ruffles had such a wonderful time staying with them and it was clear from the very beginning how much care and attention they put into making him feel comfortable and at home. Ruffles was a little homesick at first, but Emma and Alex went the extra mile to help him settle. With every update and photo they sent, we could see him becoming more relaxed and discovering all the best nap spots around their home! They were incredibly communicative throughout the stay, providing regular updates that gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It was heartwarming to know from their messages how much they adored Ruffles and genuinely enjoyed caring for him. Knowing that our pup was having his own wonderful holiday made our holiday even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend Emma and Alex to anyone looking for caring, attentive and trustworthy sitters. They took the time to understand Ruffles' needs and made sure he felt safe, comfortable and loved throughout his stay. We are already looking forward to ruffles staying with them again soon.
Emma looked after Rory for 2 days while we went to a wedding. We've never used Rover before but Emma to be very accomodating and attentive. Regularly receiving updates and photos made us feel more comfortable. Would definitely get Emma to look after Rory again!
Emma was a fantastic dog sitter! Bo had a great time with them. They clearly care a lot about animals and were very communicative, thoughtful and caring.
My puppy Idris had a great day with Emma and Alex. Idris had stayed the night previously, so knew he’d have a great time. He was really well looked after and was sleepy as soon as we got home too. Always lovely to speak with them both. Our go to sitters :)

Schedule
I offer dog walking, drop-in services, doggy day care and boarding. I work full-time 9 till 5, and I can be flexible with office / work from home days, so happy to work you into my weekly schedule! Additionally, I am free most weekends (unless they are already blocked out in my calendar).

Safety, trust & environment
I'm happy to accommodate any special needs your dog has. Please let me know if they have any health issues / behavioural issues / special requirements that I need to be aware of - for both their safety and mine. My entire focus will be on your pet while in my care so you can be reassured that they will not be left alone, especially if they are prone to separation anxiety or maybe just a little bit more nervous! As mentioned, my own dog had quite unique behavioural issues, so I have a lot of experience picking up on cues that suggest a dog is uncomfortable / needs space!
A typical day
You can be reassured that my entire focus will be on your pet while in my care. Depending on their energy levels - I think it is super important to make sure your dog is stimulated mentally and gets plenty of physical exercise. I trained my own dog from when he was just a little pup so I would be happy to help train your puppy / young dog while in my care. Let me know what fun activities your pet enjoys as I know each dog is different and feel free to let them bring their favourite toy(s) with them!
