Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I carefully follow all instructions to keep their routine as normal as possible and minimize stress while you’re away. I want every pet I care for to feel secure and respected, so I pay close attention their cues when it comes to personal space and affection. That way, I can give them the right amount of attention to help them feel comfortable and loved. I also promise to treat your home with the same care and respect, keeping it clean and just as you left it.

I would love to know the size and breed of your pet, as well as information about their temperament and unique personality. It is important to know how they are with other animals and people, how they are with food, how active they typically are, and if they have any health concerns. Additionally, details about their preferences (such as what toys they prefer, any particular activities they love, anywhere you like to take them on walks, how much attention they typically like, etc.) are all helpful bits of information for me to be able to provide them the best possible care. Every animal is unique and I love learning the little details that make them feel most at ease!
A typical day
I love to get in as much exercise as is right for your pet. Whether that means going on some nice long walks, playing with them in your home, taking them to an enclosed area to throw a ball, going to a dog park, etc, or just going on short chill walks if thats what they can handle! I am happy to fulfill your and your pet's preferences. I also love to just hang out with the pets that I watch, giving them all the petting and cuddling they desire, while I get some school work done or watch tv. I am also super happy to send you as many pictures and updates as you'd like!

Pet care experience
I have grown up always having pets and each one of them impacted my life greatly! I also started pet sitting for my neighbors at a young age and have continued pet sitting ever since. I have hands on experience with a wide range of breeds, ages, temperaments, and needs. I am also comfortable caring for multiple pets at once. Additionally, the past two years I lived with someone with a dog and watched him for her frequently when she was traveling. I am very comfortable living with someone else’s pet and capable of adapting my daily schedule to fit their needs. I am currently in grad school with a tight budget and cannot afford my own pet right now (despite wanting one SO bad), so I adore any opportunities I get to give some love to one. I always connect very quickly with any pets I meet and I know your dog(s)/cat(s) and I will get along great! I am also happy to care for any other pets you may have as I have experience with a wide range of pets and I really love all animals! (though if it’s a spider you may have to convince me)

amazing amazing sitter!! I requested very last minute and she was super flexible and able to come within 2 hours, was very communicative, and kept my extra large energetic dog. very very happy!!!!
Emma looked after our Doberman Chief for 3 days while also house sitting - she was great! Emma was willing to come out for an initial meet and greet as a new sitter which was so appreciated. Communication was clear from booking to the end of her stay, she sent pictures along the way, Chief was happy when we arrived home and the house was just as we left it. Emma was willing to feed our fish and look after our frog terrarium as well. I highly recommend Emma and will be booking her again!
