Caring for pets is already a big part of my everyday life! I have a one-year-old dachshund of my own, so my days naturally revolve around walks, playtime, training, feeding, and making sure he gets plenty of attention. I also help care for my family’s dogs, including one who is blind and another with Addison’s disease, so I’m experienced with following routines and providing specialized care when needed. Because I’m already in the habit of structuring my day around pets, adding your furry family member into my routine feels natural. Whether it’s drop-in visits, walks, playtime, medication, or simply keeping them company, I’m happy to work around your pet’s schedule to make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. My goal is to provide dependable care that gives both you and your pet peace of mind.

primarily offer boarding in my home, where your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. Since I’m home throughout the day, your dog will receive plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, and playtime rather than being left alone for long periods. I live in a townhouse with a large yard for supervised outdoor time, along with plenty of safe sidewalks and green space for daily walks. I’ll follow your dog’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and any special instructions you provide. If your dog is crate-trained or you prefer they be crated when unattended or overnight, I’m happy to accommodate that. Otherwise, they’re welcome to make themselves at home—including on the couch and furniture for all the cuddles! My home is clean, pet-friendly, and secure, and I’ll care for your furry family member as if they were my own, keeping you updated with photos and messages so you always know they’re safe, happy, and loved.

Before booking, I’d love to know as much as possible about your pet so I can provide the best care! Please let me know about their personality, daily routine, feeding schedule, potty schedule, energy level, favorite toys or activities, and whether they get along well with other dogs. It’s also helpful to know if they’re crate-trained, allowed on furniture at home, have any fears or anxieties (such as thunderstorms or fireworks), or have any behaviors I should be aware of, like chewing, escaping, or resource guarding. Please let me know about any medications, allergies, medical conditions, or special care instructions as well. My goal is to make your dog feel as comfortable and at home as possible, so the more I know ahead of time, the better I can tailor their stay!
A typical day
Every day is a little different because I tailor my care to each dog’s unique routine and personality! Whether your pup is an early riser ready for a morning walk or prefers a slow start with cuddles and breakfast, I’m happy to follow their schedule. During visits, I make sure your dog gets plenty of potty breaks, exercise, playtime, fresh water, and lots of love and attention. If your pup enjoys walks, we’ll explore the neighborhood. If they’re more of a homebody, I’m just as happy playing fetch in the yard, working on basic training with puppies, or giving belly rubs on the couch. If approved by you, I’d also love to take social dogs on adventures like the dog park!

Whether your pup loves long walks, endless games of fetch, belly rubs, or just having someone nearby while you’re away, my goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and right at home. I have a very stubborn (but incredibly adorable!) one-year-old dachshund, so I’m no stranger to energetic puppies, potty training, reinforcing good habits, and all the patience that comes with raising a young dog. Every dog has their own personality, and I love getting to know what makes each one happiest. I’m also experienced caring for dogs with special needs. My family has one blind dog and another with Addison’s disease, so I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and giving extra attention to pets who need a little more support. You can feel confident knowing your dog will receive the same level of care I’d want for my own. Whether your dog enjoys neighborhood walks, trips to the dog park (if approved!), playing tug-of-war, cuddling on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’m happy to tailor each visit to what makes them feel most comfortable.
