We have a fully walled in property, walls & gates are 6ft tall with codes as well as gates installed around the pool so they do not have access unless we are around and you want them to swim! So it’s super safe for all pets!

A typical day
We will walk around our neighborhood, play in the back yard, cuddle on the sofa and have the best time! We are an active family but know when it’s time to relax! If your dog is the kind that loves to run around the dog park with other dog, we are also more than happy to make trips to the local park as well!

Hi, My name is Emma C. I am a former canine care technician at Wayside Waifs as well as a guest ambassador at BarK Dog Bar! (Unfortunately now, I have a boring desk job to pay the bills! Lol) We love all dogs (and cats!!)! I have experience through my line of work with various dog temperaments and needs. I pride myself in being able to tell and adapt to any dogs need whether they be shy and timid or need a little extra attention and enrichment than others! Before I started working with dogs, I grew up in a with family dogs and taking care of friends beloved pets while they’re on vacation! In this house we love cuddles, playing in both the house and the back yard, and walking (or taking them to the dog park) and would love to be able to provide this for your dogs when you are unable! We just recently moved to a house with a super safe fully walled in yard and have all wood floors, so it's perfect for those who may have the occasional accident or need that extra space to run around! (We’re a puppy friendly and understanding home). We do have dog gates that can be set up in the kitchen/dining area for separation for the short spurts that we may be out of the house, however have found we don’t usually need them. Just let us know your preference! We have three fur babies of our own! Daisy, Tyler and Bogey are all rescues. They are incredibly friendly and well socialized and would love to have some friends stay over! They are great at sharing toys and their humans, and welcome all the cuddle buddies! We have plenty of room so make sure you fur babies know they are welcome to bring anything and everything they would like to make the comfortable!! (Daisy travels with her own suitcase 👸🏼) Check out some pictures and reviews from our previous rover friend’s stays! I have experience with a variety of harnesses for walks! I have also worked with many reactive dogs before and am totally comfortable meeting yours!

Decade-long Rover user and worst experience yet. We met Emma for a meet and greet two days before the booking and decided to move forward, scheduling her to arrive before we left to fly out of town. At the time she was supposed to be at our house, I received a message that her dog wasn't feeling well, and she was boiling chicken and "running super late." We had no indication as to the seriousness or, for that matter, when she would be arriving. My messages and call were ignored for another 20 minutes (now we're running late for our flight) before she texted that we should go ahead and leave, and she would still be showing up. I messaged that I felt bad that her dog was sick and wished she would have called rather than texting. We were flying out of state and leaving our dog with someone new with zero confidence about what was happening next. Her text response? That her priority was her dog and "not me." (Who the hell says that??) Rather than working with us to resolve the issue, Emma took it into her own hands to tell us how things would go. We could have delayed our flight and given her the time to take care of her dog and book someone else if necessary. She was boiling chicken when she was supposed to be at our house, so she knew there was an issue beforehand, yet she waited to reach out, giving us zero notice. And if her dog was so sick that she couldn't call us, how can we be sure she could take care of our dogs? And who's taking care of her dog if she's watching ours? No, I wasn't going to get on a plane wondering when and if my dogs would be properly cared for. Again, I feel for her, but as she indicated by her actions and words, she didn't care about us or our dogs. We ended up having to delay our flight. We spent more time scrambling to find a new sitter in a town we are still relatively new to. You learn a lot about someone in challenging situations. Emma isn't going to be thoughtful of you or your pups if something comes up. Keep looking. There are plenty of other good sitter options here.
