About Emma D.
Communication
Safety, trust & environment
I can care for your cats by: scooping litter boxes, feeding them dry and/or wet food and treats, refilling water bowls/fountains, playing with them, and providing them with company and attention. I can provide medication if they are used to receiving it in a powder that is mixed with wet food or in a pill that’s hidden in a treat. I also applied topical medication at the base of my senior cat’s ears, but this requires a level of familiarity with a cat to ensure their comfort and successful administration. I am also happy to bring in mail/packages, water indoor/outdoor plants, and alternate lights.
Information Emma D. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your cat(s) has any special needs, interests, or behaviors. For example, are they young and energetic, meaning I should prioritize playtime? Do they try to go outside when they shouldn't, meaning I should do the "cat dance" when I come in to block their path? Are they outgoing or do they want their personal space?
A typical day
I'm a cat sitter only (though I’ve recently started caring for a bunny too), so I'll primarily be staying in your home to check up on them and play. If you have the kind of cat that tolerates harnesses and likes to go on walks, I would love to provide that!

Pet care experience
I grew up with two cats, one of which lived to be 14 and the other to be 16. Caring for them throughout their lifetime, I have experience with kittens as well as adult and senior cats. I have been catsitting in a professional capacity through Rover since the fall of 2022 and informally for family and friends since 2018.
Reviews

Thank you Emma for taking such good care of my kitties! She is so attentive to them. Always plays with them, gives pets, and makes sure they are taken care of.

Emma did an amazing job with Cinnamon and Ginger, especially since they haven’t really been socialized with many humans. They both came out to cautiously greet her, and by the end of the visits they came out and acted like their normal selves! While we were out of town, Emma also kept in contact with us and when Ginger had an asthma attack, Emma was there to get a recording and even agreed to extend the booking so she could observe if her attacks continued. We’re truly thankful that she was so adaptable and accommodating, and we would gladly recommend her for anyone with shy or skittish cats, or people who might be anxious cat parents.

My kitties love Emma! She even gets the shy guy to come out for her

Emma is absolutely amazing! Very attentive and gives detailed reports and photos.
