Safety, trust & environment

I can easily take dogs out for walks, let them out if you have a designated yard, or am happy to just be there with them at the home during the day. I know work hours can be a long time for your pets to be alone, so I am flexible and willing to do whatever is needed for the best care. I can crate your dog if needed when I leave or administer any medications. I am here to make your life (and your pets) easier and stress free!

Information Emma D. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your pet has special needs or if your pet has any specific behaviors to look out for. This will ensure I can prepare for how to provide the best care!

A typical day

I will provide the physical activity desired for your pet. I can take your dog on a walk to the nearest park, or just around the neighborhood! If you have a yard, I can be there to let them outside. I will make sure they have plenty of food and water as well. If desired, I can do drop in visits to make sure your pet is happy and healthy at home!

Pet care experience

I have been an avid animal lover for as long as I can remember. Through gaining the trust of friends and neighbors, I have made pet sitting one of my favorite jobs since I was only 10 years old. My family has owned pets my whole life and through this I have learned useful skills such as administering medication and providing daily shots for my diabetic dog. I believe every owner deserves to feel stress free when leaving their pet with a sitter. So, my goal is to provide safe, trustworthy, and compassionate care for their beloved furry friends.

Emma did a wonderful job walking my dog, Poppy. She was reliable, friendly, and took great care of Poppy every time. She clearly loves dogs and my dog loved her back! It put my mind at ease knowing that I had someone responsible, caring and dependable taking care of my dog. I recommend her without reservation!

Emma has watched our 4 cats and 2 dogs multiple times. She is very responsible and able to give insulin shots, put on dog diapers and feed according to dietary restrictions. She absolutely loves animals and they love her. My wife and I have always been comfortable recommending Emma to pet sit for anyone we know that needs a sitter.

Emma has been our pet sitter for our two dogs for the last couple of years. She LOVES our dogs and takes great care of them. We got our Mini Golden Doodle a week before we went on vacation--bad planning on our part. Emma stayed with him and our Morkie for a week, continuing to crate train and love on this new member of our family. He had digestive issues though, and Emma was his angel. He kept having diarrhea in his crate, sometimes several times a day. Each time, she would clean it up, do the laundry, and bathe him. She truly goes above and beyond, and she loves the animals like they were her own. She is very responsible, proactive, respectful, and kind. I highly recommed her as a person and as a pet sitter!

I cannot say enough about Emma, and how well she cares for our animals. She goes over and above to make sure that everyone, furbabies and their parents, are happy! She is comfortable giving shots, and Moses (our dog) PREFERS Emma to give his insulin shots. Emma is known as the dog whisperer in Lexington among our friends and neighbors. You won’t be sorry!
