Hello! I’m Emma, a recent college graduate who’s been missing having animals in my life now that I’ve finished school. I’m not quite ready to adopt again just yet, so I’d love the opportunity to give your pets some extra love and attention! I’ve loved animals my entire life and have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I’m responsible, communicative, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. My Experience I cared for my own dog, Kirby, for 12 years, taking care of his daily walks, meals, playtime, and everything else that came with being a pet parent. He passed away in 2024, and caring for other people’s pets has been a wonderful way for me to keep animals in my life. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve spent over 5 years caring for dogs and cats for friends, family, and clients. I have experience with pets of many different breeds, sizes, and ages, including pets with additional medical or daily-care needs. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and instructions closely so they can feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I also have experience helping with feral cats through TNR, socialization, finding foster homes, and coordinating medical care. I’m the kind of person who carries pet treats when I travel because I can’t resist saying hello to an animal I meet along the way! I’d love the chance to meet you and your pet and give them the same patience, attention, and affection I would give my own. I’m a fast communicator, respectful of your home, and always do my best to leave things even cleaner than I found them. I look forward to meeting your furry family member!
