I have grown up with a cat and have had 2 rescue Lurchers who were very badly treated and required a lot of care and rehabilitation. I have worked as a fundraiser for the Dog’s Trust and following that gained some experience in dog training and behaviour work in North London and regularly walked rescue dogs. I also worked with Evesham Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue voluntarily fostering unwanted dogs looking for homes. I regularly look after my Dad’s dog, Theo, a Cavapoo, who comes to stay. My 14 and 11 year olds are desperate for a dog but my current work commitments as a GP make this difficult however they are keen to accompany me on walks (they will not be alone with your pet or replacing me as caregiver at any time)).
