Dog lover and previous dog owner
I’ve had three lovely dogs at different times over the past 30 years. Two bichon’s and up until very recently, I had a gorgeous Coton de Tulear for almost 14 years. My experience is with small to medium dogs. I have a spacious and secure garden and carpet-free flooring downstairs. I no longer have any dogs, but I would look after your dog like my own. Regular walks and feeds. Do let me know any special requirements for your dog and I will try to accommodate. I will keep your dog on the lead when taking them for walks. I want your dog to feel happy and safe, and to give you that peace of mind.

Emma has been absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Responds in a timely manner, had a meet and greet before a our dog Rolo's stay. She is very attentive and asked questions about Rolo's needs before having him with her for the day. She kept me posted and adding photos throughout the day of what he has been doing including meal times, wee/poo breaks, walks etc. I picked up a very contented dog, and have no doubt he was well looked after like he was one of Emma's own. Thank you so much :)
Emma used to look after my old dog, Sandy, whenever we were on holiday, and I honestly can't think of anyone I'd trust more with a pet. I know the dogs she's had throughout her life have all been treasured members of the family. I still smile when I think of how one of her dogs happily lived on home-cooked salmon and chicken from Waitrose for years – that's just Emma! She absolutely adored all her dogs and always went above and beyond to make sure they were happy and well cared for. She's incredibly resourceful and kind, and I'd trust her to know exactly what to do if anything unexpected happened. Any doggo would be lucky to have Emma looking after them!

Schedule
I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your dog from Thursday early evening to Sunday evening especially.

Fenced and secure spacious garden. Downstairs flooring is all carpet-free so no worries about accidents. I have some foam dog steps that your dog can use to get onto the sofa etc. if this is your preference/if your dog has any joint issues. There are lovely local walks nearby to suit your dog’s energy levels.

A typical day
Regular walks to check out new smells in the area and companionship at home. I’ll accommodate any games or dog routines that your dog likes.
